Fossil fuel power is a power, which comes from burning fossil fuel like coal, natural gas or oil to produce electricity (Wikipedia). It is helpful for our life, but it has many negatives. It is very pollutant, because it produces a lot of CO2, which is the main cause of global warming (Alternative Energy Secret). Moreover, which p
roduces sulphur dioxide, it is a gas, which creates acid rain (Alternative Energy Secret). Another problem is that, the mining to get the coal is very dangerous and it is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world (Alternative Energy Secret). Here is a graph shows the number of world carbon emission from fossil fuel burning from 1950 to 2001 (Green Learning). We can see that, the total carbon emissions have tripled, and they continue to increase rapidly.
The alternative power of the fossil fuel power is nuclear power. Nuclear power is a method to produce the energy using nuclear fission or nuclear fusion reaction (Nagel). It is very clean and it doesn’t produce harm gases like the fossil fuel. It can produce electrical power, so it is very helpful to reduce the amount of CO2 (Time for Change). Many countries are using nuclear power now and, because of its benefits.

We have to find a solution for the global warming. It is really a serious problem. I my opinion using nuclear power is a good step and all the countries should use it. But, I think the nuclear energy cannot substitute the fossil fuel. This does not mean we should ignore it. However, we should use both of them. We have to do all the best to fight the global warming. We must start now.
